10.10.2014 // National Grandparent’s Day

This annual holiday is celebrated in the USA since 1978 and officially recognized in a number of countries. Marian McQuade is officially recognized as the founder of National Grandparents Day. She encouraged the youth to spend time with seniors to learn about their contributions and achievements and do so not only one day a year, but for a lifetime. In the USA this holiday is celebrated on the first Sunday after Labor Day, on the whole in September. In other countries the dates vary from second Sunday in September in Canada to second Sunday in November in Germany. In Poland this day is celebrated on 21 January and in France on the first Sunday in March.

No matter what date is accepted in your country – this day is a perfect opportunity to spend time together with your grandparents, learn something about their lives and present relatives with handmade gifts, showing love and affection. 26 September is the European Day of languages. It was proclaimed by the European Council on 6 December 2001 (the European Year of Languages), which had been organised by the Council of Europe and the European Union. Its aim is to encourage language learning across Europe. People are promoted to enlarge the range of learnt languages, thus enriching cultural and linguistic diversity of Europe.

Creativity is extremely important for children’s general development. Preschoolers and school-age children enjoy being involved in creative play and artistic creativity so that they can express their impressions and mood. Autumn is spinning up, preparing the nature for winter rest. The sun is not so hot as it was, windy weather is more likely from day to day, and trees gradually are getting dressed up in yellow. Kids are missing their summer rest and have to make up their minds to study a lot.
Currently our little ones are supposed to cope with great difficulties, changing their sweet homes for nurseries and class rooms and dealing mostly with unfamiliar adults in the person of teachers and educators. It is a great stress in fact, and now children are in need of strong support and understanding. It is a must to help them get involved in the course of a new life and ease the shock.
Ranok-Creative analyzed some information on how to cope with stress, caused to children at the beginning of back to school season. So, on the basis of all that, be sure you can:
1. Provide your kid with adequate rest.
2. Stick to the already set pace of everyday routine and try not to change a lot at once.
3. Avoid hassle and fuss.

August is near at hand and it’s high time to prepare your beloved offsprings for a new educational season. Ranok Creative Company participated in Hong Kong exhibition. It was our second participation in this regular event.

Our booth:

International Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair is the largest event in the Asian toys industry. It was 40-th anniversary of exhibition this year. As organizers informed approximately 2000 participants from 32 countries of the World were presented this year on Fair.

But travel was not over in Hong Kong. From the 29^th of January the exhibition in Nurenberg will start.
